Friends, Bihar cannot be developed unless we create unique compititve advantage of each district of bihar. So, i invite to share some of your bright ideas as which districs should be focussed so as to create a business compititive advantage of that district. We have to keep in mind that the funds are low for development so the deistrict so chosen must have atleast a minimum infrastrcture for development.

Please contribute your ideas.

Friend i agree with your opinion but before all changes in bihar i thing the law & order is most important. Why i am telling this i am considering to estalished one small factory in my native district but i fear for the security from the dacoit mand police of Bihar. Bihar Police is greater threat than Dacoit. The first change i thing in the police working culture and behavour then only bihar can develop.

Dear Friend,
I give you a heart felt appreciation towards our motherland. I can understand your concern, although in the present circumstances nothing much can be done but as such precautionary measures can be taken. You can insure your factory from the banks and Bihar State Industrial Development Corporation and Bihar chamber of commerce. But at present, unfortunately, I don't think the conditions are so favourable that factories can be started except in Patna, where the conditions are bit favourable because of being a capital. Friend, I know it will take sometime to start the working culture and professnalism in Bihar, but the BIHAR WILL RISE AGAIN, IT WILL BE THE SOURCE OF KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM ONCE AGAIN, that's the dream and belief of every Bihari.

CHANGE THE POLITICS..BIHAR WILL BE CHANGED..
Hello guys..I have looked the discussion that u guys have done for development of bihar..and feel very proud that there are peoples who are thinking about the development of bihar. As per the development of bihar is concerned i personally feel that ..ya the time has come we should wakeup now and take some steps.

I would like to bring ur focus on the following points ..as we are talking about the development then i would like to say that to change the bihar we need to change the system..the whole system need to be changed..and for changing the system the people like us ..i mean to say the educated youths of bihar should enter into politics.we need fresh, educated, young and technocrats politician in bihar..we are backward because of dirty politics that has been played in bihar since last 50 yrs.Guys come forward. create the political parties..take the system in your hand and change it..to make any change in the system we need power and for that we need a development centered party in bihar. We need to change our mind set..u can see how our society is habituated with traditional rat race.Every parents dreams that his child should be an IAS,engineer,doctor.. etc..but nobody is willing to send their child into politics..why?? are we not responsible for what we are now..?? we never took any step to change any thing..we just criticize our system(politicians,police...everybody) that they are not doing their work properly. have we done everything properly..or are we do today everything perfectly..how many of us has thought that we are choosing rt peoples into our election. Most of the educated people of bihar stay outside of bihar(not by their own willingness but because of they are victim of the system) and they wont vote in elections. and the rest of the peoples who are voting in elections, they don't know even the meaning of government(I don’t mean to heart any one ). We have just left our bihar into the hand of some dirty peoples of society. I am asking that how many ministers of bihar are aware about their responsibility ?? do they have any agenda for their departments the answer is NO!!. Many of the them comes from criminal background and many are not educated sufficiently that the can think about the development.
Think!!..how many new schools ,coilleges..univercities have been open in bihar after inipendence..very few..then what our politicians are doing from last 50 yrs..where are we now in infrastructure..?? where are we now in IT? How many villages in Bihar are connectd to roads ..?? how many citizens are geeting 24 hrs electricity in Bihar.. why we are not getting any solution for flood..?? are the peoples form the land of Ashoka are not capalbes for creating the dams on the rivres so that the floods can be stopped..?? are we not capable to produce electricity ..??.. no body feels secure there nobody wills to start any businees..these are some basis requirement which is the right of every citzen of bihar but still we don’t have answers for thses questions. We have to change our system..we need to bringback our image of bihar..so that every citizen of bihar should feel proud .

Thanks guys.. !!post ur cooments and give me the suggestions if I am wrong anywhere.
Again thanks for creating such a nice discussion point.

Hi Everyone,

Thnks for starting such a greate discussion forum. Well i very much agree with most of you. Nirmal what ever you have described is quite good and realistic. But do you feel that just by creating a party of youth like us, all the problems are going to resolve. I dont feel so. I completly disagree on this point. I hope you guys know about the party formed by some of IITians few years back. What happen to that party after last Lok shabha election. Most of us dont know.
Even the politician whom we blame today r not made just in 2 days. Either u talk about Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar or anyone. Most of them had come from Jayaprakash Narayan movement. And they have spend a lot of time to get this position. So keeping this in mind we should talk realistic. No one is going to accept a party of youth(well qualified) just like that. The only way to get recognised is thru your work and public confidence in you. Even a person like Rahul gandhi has to do a lot of ground work before getting into the actual system. So i think we should understand this hardcore fact first. If we wanna change the system then we have to enter from very grass root level. Either you opt to work for social service, setup ur small business and do something good for the complete region. These are some of the way to show ur presence and install a confidence in larger population.

Well i believe that the current government is doing fairly good. If we compare ourself with other developed state then obviously we are no where. But if we compare today's Bihar from a Bihar 10 yrs back then we can certainly see a positive change.

Thanks,
Ashutosh

Hello Ashu..i am completely agree with what u r telling. One thing I want to tell that the growth rate of bihar by these existing parties is not satisfactory still there are so many things to do but they are not taking any step.
As u r talking about Lok paritran (The party formed by IITns)..so I want to make one thing clear that might be in initial stages they are not getting success but they are growing very fast and I am very confident that very soon we will se the results. Also we should not expect much from them within such a sort period (we should know that the party has been formed in nov 2005..allmost around in 2006 ..and within 2 yrs we cant expect that they will capture the seats in LOK SABHA elections.it will take time to change the mindset of people about voting..still peoples are not voting on development basis but the vote on caste basis). But we should keep the patient and wait to see the results in upcoming years.
what ever I wrote is not just like we will create party today and tomorrow we will bag the LOK SABHA elections and we will be able to create the government. The current politicians (I wont take the name of any one), they didn’t entered into politics by their own choice but they have been created by their current situations, so that they don’t have any agenda of development. What I am talking about is ‘to enter into politics by your passion’ and I strongly believe that if u do any thing passionately certainly u will succeed. There is difference between u r working by your own choice and u have been forced to work.

And I am not understanding that why the party of youth will not be accepted..?? I am not agreeing with ur this point. Today 70 % of Indian population is in the age group of 25yr.So I don’t think if u will take the initiative people will deny, may be it will take time but as hard as we work, gradually people will accept it. Just we need to do is to convince the peoples not only by words but with ground works. Make the people aware about the real development .Just we need to convince our own family .If everyone like us will convince our own family the whole voting system can be changed.we each and every individual can make the difference by making aware of our own family and the people whom we know.We can’t leave our people into the hand of these corrupt politicians but what we need to do is to keep trying….trying and trying. till we are not getting success. may be it will take 1 yr or 2 yr or..5 yr..or one generation but certainly our day will come.

Thanks!!
Nirmal

you are absolutely right, that without having competitive advantage we cannot have a sustainale development, for that we should know our own core competency in different ways, it can be our own intellectual (Human) property which is spread everywhere.
for really knowing the competitive advantage we should once gain refer to PORTER'S Diamond model which will be highly applicable here.
these are the following factors a/c to Porter's diamond model
A. Land

B. Location

C. Natural resources

D. Labor, and

E. Local population size.
and based on my knowledge we are blessed with almost all of it.

the thing which is necessary to harness our available potential in a proper way.

Hello friends, well topic is good and very concern about the all of us. After independence we have seen the development of india in term of Figures, GDP and Human Development Index. Before discussion about the development of Bihar, we have to define the development and understand it very well. Development is a very dual meaning word in term of its impact. We have see, when ever in any area Dam had made, it had displaced many of people. If we seen in Jharkhand, many of the Tribes has lost their forest, land and even their live in the name of development. What we see in Odissa, Jharkhand, Chhatishgarh the exploitation of natural resource is at pick for commercialized(Individual benefits ).

What I Feel for the development of Bihar in term of Education, Health and employment. I will give credits to the professional working in health and education sector for bringing good programs and schemes in the Bihar from state as well as central level. Always think, the any government can take only the decision in term of yes or no. Currently many of professional are working from their own level for the development of Bihar.

Now I would like to talk about the current youth, the market and the fashion has attracted many of us in term of investment carrier. Many of us are not able to take decision regarding the carrier, we follow the friends, family member and others. We have to understand first our priority and choice and then go for it.
